You know, its funny to think that we have so many rules today all over the world and we never would have had to have them if mankind had followed the one simple rule of don't eat that ONE FRUIT out of the astronomical number of trees you can eat of.

But men and women are kinda rule breakers :( *sigh*

At least we got a second chance with Jesus! :)

Hahahaa! And this is a really nice observation. I guess "quiet times" would be fun if drawing was involved haha esp if you're a Christian artist. Never thought of that before!! :D I usually write (prayerfully with the Holy Spirit ofc..) on my journal about what I observe, interpret, and will be applying after I read my bible... Is this one of the ways you meditate? :D

This would be a very broad request, but I think your life goal should be to draw out all scenes of the Bible (both Old and New) and have them bound into a big, animated Bible for children. It would be epic :D

one thing that some people have trouble with when it comes to the Bible is how some of the verses are worded; some translations are more difficult to comprehend (i.e KJV) than others (i.e NIV, ESV, etc.). Doing something such as this is a creative way to simply the verses to make them easier to understand; great job!

well, i'm not boasting that I'll do every single word though, please keep in mind too that these comics are not meant to replace the bible and it's only for entertainment purpose only :)

you're welcome.
I know, and I'm certainly not suggesting that things such as this should replace the Bible.

But we must be sure, that in making them easier, not to make them less accurate. And, for the record, the KJV actually ranked easier in reading comprehension tests. it's just hard because of the archaic suffixes.

Exactly, and yeah it is difficult because of the way it's worded; more of middle English as opposed to modern English.

Technically, it' Early Modern English. But okay.

Ok; only reason why I referred to it as Middle English is because you have words such as "ye", "knoweth", "hath", etc.

You're probably right, maybe I was mistaken.

But yeah.....oooooooh! Got to be careful to read it through when you're reading the Bible! Some people make such outlandish statements about the Bible and they never realize that if they had just finished the verse, or chapter, they would get the answer! I've done that to where I'm like, "But THAT means.....*GASP*....how could *finishes verse or chapter* ....oh!"

Ha ha, cute. Grammar check! Bolded words should be removed, italicized words replaced.
"I didn't know you're this stylish." -replace with you were
"I mean, you made me as naked before."

I don't know if you're translating verses from the Bible for the narration or copying them directly from an English Bible, but you may want to double-check those. They're not incorrect, but some of them, particularly the second panel, could be worded differently. I just found it a little easier to understand in my NIV version.

Otherwise, your grammar is quite good. Did you learn English from school or somewhere else?

hahahah nice, the one with "as" I originally don't want that, but if I write
I mean you made me naked before, I was scared of any double meaning!! :)

Thank you :)
Ah, no, the bible verses are from the bible itself, I wouldn't dare changing God's direct word D:
and you're right, it's the ESV version, and it's generally a bit more difficult than NIV, but they say that it's more accurate to the greek and hebrew translation.

Arrr I'm from Indo and we learn very limited basic english at school, but if you want to speak properly you have to take a private english tuition, my parents made me do that since I was 10, I used to hate that, but now it's a valuable asset for me :)

Ah, that's great. I think learning another language is fantastic for people. I know French, but my French grammar is probably worse than your English.

I see what you mean about potential double meaning in the naked sentence. I guess people could come up with double meaning from that... but I think it would take a fair amount of effort on their part. That sentence is kind of hard to word in a way that's completely impossible to misinterpret, and I still think most people won't misread it if you drop the "as". Grammatically, it's the correct thing to do. In the end it's up to you though.

not that, more like fighting a WAR, you see, certain KINDS of sinful people have taken over the Christian news site that I frequent, come to preach the false gospel of sin and lust, some claiming to be pastors over THOSE kinds of lifestyle supporting churches.

I am tasked with fighting a debate war with every last one of them, and the proverbial blood usually flows strong, not mine or my fellow Christians, but those who challenge the word of God.
